Unfortunately Tom found out today that his grandfather was very ill so has booked to fly home on Monday to visit him, he may come back for the start.

We spent much of the day on small boat preparation jobs.

In the evening there was a staff meeting for the staff working on the ARC, there are about 25 of us, so we were briefed on our  duties and then went off for a ‘team dinner’ to get to know each other
