Today was the first day of the ARC office being open.

Leila was doing check-ins, while I was checking safety equipment on boats to make sure they all have suitable equipment for the crossing.

Today I paired up with Rob who was doing his first safety checks and going over the ropes

After the busy first day we retired to the Sailors bar for a happy hour drink (sponsored bar), My good friends Chris and Pam from ‘Fizz of Cowes’ turned up today. It was great to see them and lots to chat about in bar.  Later in the evening the hotel putting up most of the ARC staff laid on a very nice buffet for the ARC staff around the hotel swimming pool
