Norman Island and meeting up with friends

After 3 nights in Road Town, we headed out in slightly less breeze to Norman Island again. The weather was beautiful and it was great to be back on a beach!! In the afternoon, after swimming and playing in the sand, Paul and Sheryl Shard arrived and we spent a lovely afternoon walking around Norman Island on a mini adventure! The children did really well, especially Arthur who walked a rather long way in the heat. We arrived back at the beach bar just in time for happy hour! It was so lovely to catch up with Paul and Sheryl and we thank them for making the trip over to see us! Paul and Sheryl are long term cruisers and we spent 5 days with them on their boat in the French Canals when Arthur was tiny wee. It was that holiday which made us realise we would like to try living on a boat so it was fab to be able to show them how we are doing it!! |
