BLUE WATER RALLY - ANAHI ON CHRISTMAS DAY

Christmas day in Nelson’s Dockyard Antigua must be one of the greatest venues on earth.  With the sun shining, yachts and super yachts alongside and many more at anchor, hundreds of people dancing to the reggae band, Champaign on the lawns, drinks at the open air bars, barbeques on the sandy beaches or formal sit down lunches – make your choices - with people who have sailed or flown from all over the world and the locals gathered in this one paradise to celebrate together.

A lot of the Rally boats decided to stay which made it even more special – Blue Raven invited 35 members of their family and took over the local hotel!  There were relatives in their 80’s dancing with us and we particularly missed Paul’s mother who was not well enough to fly this year.
