Sunday 7th September   Today we enjoyed a ‘busman’s holiday’ and sailed on a Lagoon 500 to the Low Isles just an hour away from Port Douglas.  It was great to be sailing with no responsibilities, no worries about hitting reefs and total relaxation………..

Pretty island with a lighthouse

Excellent snorkelling; fish, soft and hard corals, giant clams......

Amazing and great to have an underwater camera again to capture it all…..

Plenty of r and r for Paul (no snorkelling as he has broken his big toe)

I’ve always wanted to do that…….

And Paul sailed us home – 8 knots in 13 knots of wind – very comfortable…….
