We left Guernsey at 06:30 this morning. Motored out and hoisted main after a while. Wind light NW. We've just passed Alderney to port and have set course for the Needles, 55 miles to go. Unfurled genoa and still motor-sailing with a light NW wind. We expect the wind to back and start increasing around midday.
