Lovely day after a rather patchy night with rain
and a few mild squalls from time to time. Wind has been a little light, and
our noon to noon run was 150nm. Rigged the bimini to give shade to the cockpit,
and practised taking a noon sunsight. We attemped fishing for the first time,
trailing a pink squid lure this afternoon, but no success as yet. A very lively
pod of dolphins have just passed us by, some of them leaping and somersaulting
completely clear of the water, and flying fish have been seen in hundreds
throughout the day.
Are we nearly there yet?
