OOJAH's AWESOME ODYSSEY

Our next port of call, Edgartown on Martha's Vineyard, was a total contrast. Martha's Vineyard was named by English explorer Bartholomew Gosnold in 1602 after the wild grapes that still grow in abundance along the shore (I think Martha was his daughter). It is a pretty island full of tourists, made famous by celebrities such as the Kennedys over the years. We had a lovely day out going round the island by bus culminating in a lobster picnic on the sea wall at the tiny fishing village of Memensha.
For the last couple of days it's been wet & windy - not a problem attached to a mooring ball in the river but an opportunity for a little TLC for Oojah, some retail for Christene & sorting out of photos for me. C'est la vie ...
With love from Peter & Christene
