We got everything fixed thanks finally
to Tim Silvo of Down Jersey Marine. He worked on the battery problem until late
evening.
And now VISIBILITY is down to 200 yards.
They say it will last until Sunday. I am a bit reluctant to take Gavin out in
this.
I looked up when when I left England in
2005 it was the 24th of July and it looks like that is when we'll get back if
weather does not improve.
I want to thank Maurice Baskeyfield and
Roy Melluish Who came to America to get the Henry Wood ready for the trip, but
for their help it would not be in the condition it is today, the best in
years.
For all my friendsin Woodbury, NJ who
also gave me fantastic help. Finally my thanks to the staff of Canyon Club
Marina, Cape May, NJ for their great hospitality.
Melvin
PS. IT looks like the fog is
lifting
