A calm sea with little wind today, but what there was came from the NW, just like yesterday. Sadly we had to motor for over half of the passage.
The photo below was taken from our anchorage outside the Kilronan harbour at Inishmore, one of the Aran Islands.
The scenery on the starboard side of Gemini was breathtaking for much of the today’s 45 nms hop.

Where is the entrance to Inishbofin harbour?

The pool in which we are now moored alongside another yacht, against an old harbour pier. But we can now go ashore to stretch our legs, noting the pungent whiff of fish all around. This is a delightful and pretty harbour, with cafe/pub and hotel.
