A sunny, of not very early start to the day. Bound for St Mawes of Falmouth, Gemini was halted near Plymouth as the wind changed from SW to W and then to NW at the same time as the tide changed against us. With seas and wind increasing and a maximum of 2 knots of progress, we would have been sailing all night in poor conditions. I decided to abort and stay the night in Plymouth after over 60 nms of tacking - tiring!
