Another early start, but after breakfast! A dull morning in Plymouth shows the small gate I passed through to cut the corner round Drake’s Island, also shown here, looking drab.

SW F2-3, with variable wind intervals was forecast, with calm seas. This was accurate, with the occasional opportunity to sail without engine when up to 12 knots of wind appeared from nowhere. The least demanding day so far, with lovely, sunny weather awaiting me in the Helford River, as the pictures show.
