After a rough trip from Carriacou last Saturday, we just had a day for Sue to explore Grenada
before she departed for the icy wastes of England on Monday.
Our "rent a wreck" managed to shread the power steering belt right at the north of the island so
Julian developed his muscles on the journey back without a/c or power steering. Our visit to the
300year old Belmont Plantation (devastated by Hurrican Ivan in 2004) turned out to coincide
with a Charity Lunch in aid of the Cathederal rebuilding fund - attended by the Prime Minister,
Governor General and the Great and Good  of Grenada - all decked out their Sunday best. Our
shorts were hardly the dress of the day, but we were made most welcome and enjoyed a great lunch
and a fascinating tour of the plantation and its cocoa production.
Since then we've spent several days on boat chores (and business via the excellent broadband
connection across the anchorage). Now Anne has recovered from the cold she and Sue hatched
between them, we are heading north again tomorrow.
