The start of a great adventure!

After having loaded part of our many baggage items into HB-PON, Manfred was then driven by road to the Geneva International Airport with the rest of the heavy stuff.
The hangar was closed and Rolf alone took off from the grass strip at La Côte Aerodrôme (1550 feet long), and landed a few moments later at Geneva International (LSGG).
Filing our flight plan to Brindisi at the southerly tip of Italy, fueling up and saying good bye was next.
