On the recommendation of our 'new' friends we crossed to Korcula Island but were a bit disappointed in the first two anchorages so have moved up to an anchorage just outside Korcula town.  The town is billed as Croatia's best preserved medieval town, and birthplace of explorer Marco Polo.  Despite being somewhat busy with tourists it is certainly worth a visit.
Tomorrow we are moving on, as sadly Claudine and the boys time in Croatia is coming to an end. Have decided to return to Cavtat by Tuesday instead of Split, as this is close to Dubrovnik airport from where they fly.  After provisioning etc (particularly water) in Cavtat I will then take the boat up to Split (singlehanded) in time to meet Rachael and her 2 friends on 25th.
