A few repairs were made in Bayone by Alfredo and his boatyard. Alfredo is a sprightly 82 year old who actually comes to Wishanger 2 to take the order.

 

We were in port 24 hours longer than expected due to a steelworkers strike !! but Alfredo duly delivered our Water Maker Pump Motor, repaired pin and a new pin on time today allowing us to leave port at 16.00.

 

We are heading South again at up to 9 knots under full sail (see picture) with a keen Westerly helping and Dolphins to keep us company. There is a beautiful sunset and nearly full moon. How lucky we are. 

 

We are hoping to reach Lisbon late Saturday in time for the departure of Chief Engineer Rob and Cabin Boy Richard on Sunday afternoon.
