The first of our diary entries 'in anger'.  Departed Guernsey 2030 yesterday. 153 miles in first 24 hours has brought us to the start of our 355 mile Biscay crossing.  Forecast looks good.  Some great sailing with crew and boat behaving well.  Just one small problem - the water maker would not 'fire up' so plan some diagnostics - and hopefully - repairs, en route. In the meantime water rationing is in force! Watch rota incorporating cooking and cleaning duties also in hand.  Yesterday Steve cooked a chicken curry, and today John a vegi currry. Both excellent.  Tomorrow its my turn.  Had thought of pigeon pie but if this web diary posting doesnt work, may have to use Richard's friend for pigeon post - see attached.
