Last diary entry was from Mjet Island a week ago when we were threatened with a Bora - the NE 30-40 kn  wind typically arriving in the middle of the night!  Nothing happened and the next day we moved further west on Mjet and anchored with stern warps ashore alongside a classic gentlemans motor yacht named 'Seagull' registerd in Malta. Probably the best anchorage so far. The boys perfected their water skiing skills and Claudine and I disgraced ourselves!  An Italian boat anchored nearby and Ugo, the skipper, invited himself to a 'go'. He turned out to be a bit of an expert, and immeditely destroyed Claudine and my excuse that our little rib was not powerul enough for adults!! He was immediately followed by his teenage son and daughter. The National Park pass included a visit to an inland salt water lake and a ferry to the small island on which there was a monastry.  All very picturesque.
