We are about 160 nm from Madeira, so another 36 hours should get us there. The last 24 hours have given good winds, around 20 knots with at least 2 meter seas so we are ‘rolling along, singing a song, side by side’. Except, Kev is off watch and snoozing so I can get the ukulele out!

Visitors today include a tern, a couple of  Cory’s sherewater ( Cory, I did know you have  a bird named after you) and a 12 cm squid landed on deck, unfortunately not enough for a meal!

Our little quiet boat has turned into a one man band of noises, we have Boom on the two tone harmonica, Flagstaff on scraper percussion, Tupperware on the rocking rhythm section, Hull playing the creak, hum, crash bang melody while Kev and I provide the lyrics every time we bump into something! (  the song is a bit repetitive) but we are all in harmony and looking forward to a 3 day quarantine in Madeira awaiting test results – ample time to sleep and recover!

Keeping you all in our hearts and minds, J & K xx
