Boat Maintenance day.. - Steve and Gary - from
Antigua Rigging fitted the new Davit Cable ( Sheared at Fort de France
)... and also fitted the new Davit Limit switch which caused us problems in
St Lucia. All work done to Cap`n Pete`s satisfaction.
Then a rigg check - clean bill of health , as we
expected - but we decided to drop and re haul the Yankjee the collar ring on the
furler needed tightening at it`s sheeving at the mast head....
Sea Shuttle caught the Hurricane chain near our
anchor and caused much fuss and commotions as she struggled free with the
aid of divers.
Sotto Vento is now moored on our port side Oyster
655 # 07 - Last seen in Las Palmas. She looks beautiful. Gary Skipper and Dee -
nice couple who had abeer and a few tips for us..
