Falmouth - June 2022

Our first blog entry has taken some time, we agree, however neither of us remember a winter being as long as the one we've just had which hampered progress on all fronts.

It's now the 20^th June and, at last, we are readying Stargazer for departure to France. We are aiming for Camaret-sur-Mer on the Brittany coast and hoping to leave as early as Wednesday evening (22^nd June), weather permitting.

We'll miss Falmouth (and the people we've met - friends old and new). Having been here for so long we quite like it - we just don't like its weather whilst we've been here. So, warmer climes here we come...

Despite all our sailing, the passage to Camaret will involve our first overnight passage together as a couple. At least it's just about the shortest night, so it can't get any easier than that.
