Saturday afternooon and evening we continued on a reach at a steady 6kts towards our destination in a smooth sea with a clear sky.  However, at sunset (2235UT), the wind started to veer and drop until by midnight there was no effective wind so we resorted to motoring.  It was another stunning night sky with a growing moon illuminating a very flat sea.  Supper was spag bol a la Ross, the sauce locally concocted with an Oz influence, followed by the last of our French puds.

With the dawn (1003UT) some wind appeared from astern and we proceeded slowly downwind until a squall with 30kts wind and a torrential downpour required a rapid sail change.  On the positive side, we enjoyed our morning fresh water shower!  Conditions stabilised after about an hour with the wind again from the south west and when it virtually died by mid-day, the engine was again engaged.

Slower progress than we would wish but still hope to be on Bermuda by Thursday.
