Good afternoon all! Welcome to another addition of our blog vogage from Bermuda to Gibraltar, maybe with a stop in the Azores but all being well we'll sail on past time constraints allowing!

Time is 1134 local and we are now on our way!! We've got the same crew on board from Antigua and we're all set to go. We're departing a day later than expected. We wanted to take in a bit of the America's Cup atmosphere before departing, and also 12 tall ships arrived in Hamilton yesterday for the tall ships festival...quite a sight to see coming down the channel under full rig and sail!

Our departure was also delayed by the need to re-provision and top up the fuel tanks. Also the generator required a service (oil, oil filter, fuel filter, pre-filter changed). Another necessity was more lures after our rotten luck from Antigua! Hamilton didn't have a very big range, we basically cleared out the shop of all 4 decent lures he had. They're now swimming out the back and we hope to have more takers this timeshala! We also found out that since we cleared immigration at St. Georges, we also have to clear out there. So at 0600 this morning we lifted anchor from Hamilton and moved 12 mile back up the coast to clear out.

So the forecast is giving 13 knots SW today. Our routing is suggesting heading North East for the next 900 miles before heading East towards the Azores. There's a low moving East above our planned route over the coming week which looks set to give us some strong winds so we'll see how that works out for us. It shows up to 30 knots at the moment but if it gets too uncomfortable we'll head south out the way of it.

We'll aim to do one update at least per day to keep you informed of our progress. Should you wish to email us you can. BUT NO SIGNATURES AT THE END OF EMAILS OR ATTACHMENTS!!! DO NOT INCLUDE ANY PREVIOUS REPLY THREAD IN THE EMAIL! Our email address is 'theboatsname'@mailasail.com

Pic of us now underway with main and code 0.....nice!!!
