Ahoy there,

A1 1pm GMT on 04/12 we passed through our 2 weeks at sea mark - time flies when you're having fun!

Overnight we saw the wind drop a touch, but non the less the spinnaker was up at first light and stayed up for a majority of the day, dropped only for ongoing checks on the temprorsry halyard line which had failed the day previously - we weren't going to have the same problem again!

The ocean became quite calm in the early afternoon so whilst dropping the spinnaker we sent our resident action man, Richie under the boat to retreive the sheet we'd wrapped around the prop. 'Operation free prop' went smoothly and Richie was soon back aboard - sharks in the ocean may have been a motivator to work fast! After a quick check that we had propulsion again, the spinnaker was back up and we were sailing once more.

After a round of delicious crepes made by our resident Belgium patissier Eric "Two Legs" we enjoyed an afternoon of fantastic sun on deck, as we sailed towards our next milestone of 500 miles to destination.

Following an evening meal of fish stew - 2 types of fish (tuna and corrafin) in a white wine sauce served over rice seved by our very own young masterchef Tom, we continued under the spinnaker until around 2am when the wind finally gave up on us. Luckily our newly working prop was at hand to ensure progress continued.

Fishing update: the rods remained out of the water for yet another day as we continue to try and eat our way through the tonne of Tuna we already have aboard. We may try and tempt a few smaller fish tomorrow as the crew all miss the excitent of the shout 'FISH ON'!

Picture of the day: We captured Richie in the midst of 'operation free prop' with Shalan's GoPro. Whilst this is an already fantastic picture, we're sure it could be made better with photoshop , maybe a sneaky shark in the background? We'll look forward to seeing your efforts!
