Afternoon readers....1430 here. Pleased to report the wind steadily increased yesterday evening and shifted NNW. It increased to 25 knots in the night, currently blowing 20 and we're reefed in close hauled pounding through some big waves (although nothing in comparison to the what we saw a week ago) and pounding down the miles averaging 9/10 knots! 400 miles to go! Sleeping in this was a mission with the amount of heel and some interesting 'anti-heel' beds have been constructed in the cabins and galley.

The only normal service that hasn't been resumed is Brownwater's daily movement. I highly recommended a shot of olive oil and Susie's St. Lucian special sauce as a tried and tested remidy and his medicine has been duly served and taken. We're waiting in anticipation for some action!

Apart from that all is well....we're starting to see a bit more life with a few more vessels popping up on the AIS but not in eye-sight range.

Pic of the day: Smashing along this morning with the sun rising!
