Morning readers! 0930 here and we've had a strong 24 hours averaging over 200 miles a day. It's been a hard slog close hauled. Wind remained NNE (I put NNW in yesterday's blog which was a mistake) averaging 20 knots wind speed and we've been smashing along at 9/10 knots although SOG has been consistently lower due to current. We're picking up plenty of boats on the AIS now and can see the occasional one or two passing on the horizon. Right now we're about 70 miles off the Portugese coast and Cape St Vincent. Wind is forecast to shift East today so we will continue to sail on this tack which will no doubt move our course futher south as the day progresses.

All is well on board....Brownwater might need to take down another shot of Suzie's special sauce though...still no action.....then again he's just gone to the head lol.

That's all for now....one more night to go and we should be there tomorrow all being well!
