Hello! Gaetan writing today!

Another day at sea, another very nice day. We are progressing on a south westerly course to avoid some light winds and actually some wind in the face. We still have a nice speed around 8-9 kts for a beam reach, force 4 ESE. The genoa and the main sail are doing the job quite nicly, we can't complain! We'll see in 4-5 days how our strategy is working! Today we had a lot of squalls and some showers. I was pleased to give to Andrew some shampoo and see him enjoying the warm rain around the tropics! The time passes quickly, looks like day-night-day, on a nice watche rythm. We do 3 hours on for 6 hours off and always 2 crew on watch.
First time for me to skipper a yacht accross the ocean with a Playstation onboard! I tried the driving game, and it seems that shalan was inside the game and slaloming like the speeding cars, a strange feeling to be honest!

We had some crepes with fruits and warm chocolate and some pasta amatricianna for the dinner. We always eat all together, the crew starts to be a solid team, I can say that i'm very proud of them, they do a great job, I try to keep the boat on it's maximum capabilities and I know too well how exhausting this can be, well done chaps!

We had a few fishes on our fishing canes but Shalan was like a horse in a fury and we lost all of our chances (and 1one of our lures) to god knows what beast :)

Nearly 5 days and just sailing, no motoring at all, and thats very nice. The crew is enjoying the ocean, the system starts to be far away now, just the elements and us and Shalan, she is doing a great job, well done baby!

Now it is night time, another pitch black night, we can just see the genoa lighted by the side lights on the balcony, some stars on port side and some lightening on starboard, quite intense.

We can feel the temperature climbing now as we head, coconut time is coming!

Good by my friends, see you mt friends ....that's for Harold!

Ps. Pic of the day. Some action during a squall with 27 knots of wind and hale stones!
