( Hi All sorry the first attempt to send this failed hence it is 3 days late! Now in Columbia and will send update later, Bid Fish story! )

Been in Bonaire for 6 days the time has whizzed past!

Hired a truck and did some shore dives, including a couple of wrecks, and a few dives from our dinghy.

It a very small island, and we drove around it in a day - its very barren and dry, in fact it looks much better under the water than it does on top! Its surrounded by a reef with an amazing array of coral and reef fish.

One of their biggest exports is salt, and there are huge piles of it in the south of the island, the flamingoes love paddling in the salt lakes.

There are a number of Oysters on the island so we've had a few socials including a drinks partys on Safiya last night with 20 people on board - i think we've set the bar for parties! I even had a very civilised afternoon with some of the ladies on another boat listening to David Beckham on Desert Island discs.

In about an hour we set sail for Santa Marta on the Columbia coast. The forecast is good with 20 to 25 knot winds from the east apart from the last 50 or so miles which are a notoriously windy and rough bit of water!!

Will let you know how we get on.....
