A few words from the boy…

A quite month for everyone accept our skipper (who may require retirement counselling – as he obviously hasn’t got the hang of slowing down yet !!)

We have had a couple of mail interchanges regarding standing orders, the watch system and the never ending list of improvements to Renegade

I completed my Sea survival training (as I missed the fun when Tony, John and Terry did theirs). The Sea survival course is really worthwhile and I recommend www.sfita.co.uk for running a fun and informative course and offering such good value (£90 for sea Survival and £60 for First Aid).

The snow threatened the only real event for us which was our belated xmas meal held at the Blacksmiths Arms http://www.theblacksmithsarms-offham.co.uk/ on the 6th February. However we all made it with our respective wives (Carol, Gail, Sue and Penny) and if my memory serves me well (I was a tad “tired” by the end of the meal!) a great time was had by all, with excellent food, fine wine and superb Harvey’s (well done Sue for deciding on the venue).

Next on the calendar we have a First Aid course which John, Tony and I will be attending on the 26th February

You never know we may yet get to go Sailing

I thought I’d better add a picture and so here’s one of the most famous member of the team – Tillie (John and Sue’s dog), who was on Meridian TV recently – I know its not sailing but like I said  - it was a quite month.

Nameste from Bob the Boy.
