We left Hamble on 16 July 20:45 for the first leg. Went straight into a SW all the way heading for the river Yealm, nr Plymouth, where the boat was to stay for most of August. Not a great trip as the autohelm failed whilst I was on solo watch at 3 am, couldn't raise the crew (now have a blaster to hand!) and had to put in a tack. All experience I suppose!

A very wet and exhausting sail.
