ACTIVITIES:

Greetings to you all.

I hope this finds you all happy and well.

I am pleased to announce we are now back on track after our excursion north in search for the illusive north west wind which we hope will allow us a more direct course to the BVI - there is no doubt that last 24-36 hrs have been challenging on several levels but now we are heading back on track all is well.

Today has been another bright sunny day with the usual harmless clouds in the sky. There are one or two squalls in front and around us which do not pose much of a problem. As readers will know this is in contrast to the last couple of night shifts which have been filled with squall's and wind forcing the boat in the 'wrong' direction.

There is still a large 6-8 ft swells coming from two directions but this should settle down (we hope) in the next day or so.

Tonight we look forward to dinning on fillet steak and pomme frites, which continues the fine dinning experiences we have had to date on the trip.

We hope that those following our directions will see us plot a more direct route to our destination without the northerly spikes we have endured on more than one occasion.

All said and done this is an adventure and without the odd hitch and wind driven deviation it would not be such a challenge.

Today the crew have been doing a combination of sleeping (or trying to sleep, Ed) chatting, reading and of course (me) eating!

love and best wishes to you all
