ACTIVITIES:

REAN:
Had a sleep after his watch, chilled out and did many boat housekeeping jobs, made a tasty supper of ribs, french fries and coleslaw, changed the sails around and checked all was in order, now reading and getting his head down as he has an early watch in the morning.

JAN:
Telling tails of his global travels, spoke to Mrs Jan and also got the pump ready for installation tomorrow - this will involve sticking his head in a locker for some time so Jan elected to get his body more acquainted with the sea before undertaking this task.

JULES:
Had a relaxing day, doing the odd jobs, checking for fish on the lines... still none as yet!
Had a sleep this afternoon and some banter with the crew, ate the biggest ribs, helped down load the GRIB weather file and on watch from 8-Mid Night so keeping a good look out for the ships in the night.

ED:
After making our breakfast, Ed has commenced reading a book, this is a very rare occurrence so Frederick Forsyth should be honored. Also was found applying sun cream so being very sensible indeed! Did quite alot of sleeping, its tiring being Ed. Washed up before returning to his quarters... perhaps he has a girl in there??

GENERAL COMMENTS:
It has been a great first day on the trip, visibility has been clear and the sun has been shinning with just a few clouds in the sky and its getting a little warmer all the time.
No official lunch today as our breakfast was enough... even for Jules!
This afternoon we were joined by a school of 6-7 dolphins, Ed, Jan and Jules went up to the bow to take a closer look, Jules took some photo's and a short video.
Not many other ships around as we pass between the islands of Tenarife and Grand Canaria but we must keep a close eye out in any event!
