ACTIVITIES:
We have been traveling north, not because we want to or are lost, but because the swell and waves are making it very difficult to go anywhere else, and also there is a low pressure system to the north that we have to get to. The low pressure centre will mean radical changes in the wind direction and hopefully calmer seas. We will then attempt to get off the roundabout and do a U-turn and head south-west again.
We have been waiting for the wind to veer east of north and calm down a little to allow the swell and waves to become smaller, which will allow us to turn around and head into the waves for a few hours and then as the wind direction settles produce a swell and waves in a more comfortable direction. Only a few more hours and we hope to get there, the wind is ever so slightly pushing north-west now.

This has been the bumpiest trip I have been on - with wind, swell and waves all coming from different directions. Squalls every few hours pushing the wind speeds into the high Thirties. It has been an adventure of note.
