Bermuda is now only 79 Miles away, directly to our North. We should arrive at about 8pm, which makes the journey a 5 day epic as predicted. We did have to motor for a total of 32 hours, as there was absolutely no wind during that time, and we moved very slowly (4.8 Knots) for an entire day. So we used a third of a tank of Diesel. Not too bad actually, but we will be stopping in Bermuda to make a repair to the hatch, offload some trash, and stock up on ice and a new bilge pump.

Yesterday and this morning have been uneventful, which is great. Rean has not had to fix anything and has started reading a book. We were travelling with only the Asymmetric up doing about 5.2 Knots in 7.5 Knots of wind.

We have the Main and the Asymmetric up at the moment and are tootling along at around 9 knots, and the motion on the boat is really quite nice. In fact it was so clam yesterday, that Mari and Rean and Matt all went for a swim in the middle of the ocean. Mari spent most of the day on the Trampolines reading and sun tanning.

We did a bit of housekeeping and Mari cleaned the cockpit area using her new vacuum cleaner. We passed a ship and Rean spoke to some Ukrainian dude on the VHF. Rean cooked dinner - Teriyaki Chicken and Rice.

The water has cooled down substantially the higher up we have sailed. It was 29.2 degrees in the BVI and is only 24.6 degrees here.  O K have to go... we are now doing over 11 Knots and we will need to slow down a bit.
