The sun is trying very hard to come out from
underneath the layer of clouds and it looks like it might succeed.
Hoorah! Hopefully we can suck up some vitamin D later on
today.
We've been sailing now for about 24 hours with the
spinnaker up which makes for a nice motion on the boat. The wind picked up
a lot last night and at one stage we got up to more than 10 knots. We've
probably been averaging about 7 knots which is not too bad.
This morning Matt has been fairly busy doing some
washing and some more stainless steal cleaning. I cleaned the galley and
are waiting for Rean to wake up so that I can start vacuuming. Now that it
is not pouring down and freezing cold we can actually go outside to clean and
sit there again. The one good thing about the rain that we had is that the
boat got a nice wash and most of the salt is gone. So whilst the sun is out and I'm waiting for Rean, I might as well go
and do some washing.
