We awoke this morning to a lovely sunny windy day. Last night Louis caught a Garfish which we used to bait our lobster pot. This morning the pot was empty and all the bait gone.... was it a bass? A conger?

It was a lovely sail round to Camarinas - we had 10 knots reaching into the Ria. Very exciting as we were racing 2 French boats - needless to say, we won.

Gremlins with Raymarine are set to be fixed by "Nauti Radar"(!) in Lisbon. Today it ran fine for around 2 hours and then got seriously stressed out with error messages.

We are at anchor off a little beach - the program for tomorrow is cockling. Several other boats around and doing the same run, mainly Brits, Germans and French.

I should add that Ria de Camarinas is stunning! Quiet and under developed, the coast line is a mixture of white sandy beaches, conifer woods and rocky outcrops. There are old stone chapels dotted about also.

Still windy and sunny!
