Marina Rubicon is hotting up. The "sailors bar" was at full blast until around 4am, challenging the bar singer from Lani's, and my ear infection for the nights aural displeasure. In fact there was a fourth challenger - the creaking mooring lines due to a shift in the direction of the wind!
Anyway - all will be resolved in time for this afternoons siesta.
XC-42 "adieuX" is in the marina but no sign of anyone. This boat was the only other XC in the ARC but they are no longer on the entry list. I hope all is OK with them.
Have met some nice people and been gifted 2 lovely melons which should be ripe tomorrow.
A few last jobs today before haul out tomorrow.
Berthing at the marina in Las Palmas sounds "interesting" - at least we have 10 fenders, instead of the 4 that come as standard....
The weather is turning - its still shorts & short sleeves, in fact it's just right.
Shame that iPlayer is restricted to UK geography and not individual license fee payers wherever they are. Little Britain.
Chao for now
