A few shots from the River Yealm to test the HTML formatting of the blog. Yesterday we had a few issues with the outboard engine, I think it needs oil after nearly a year of abuse.

The new mackerel lines struck within minutes of deployment and the 2 mackerel proved good bait for the afternoons “rod fishing”. Salty sea dog Louis caught 3 good sized Dog Fish – or was it the same one 3 times over? George caught a nice Pollock. All lived to swim again and we had a chicken dinner with a nice drop of Pouilly Fume.

The view this morning from our mooring – breezy & bright

Slightly disturbed nights sleep last night due to the strong wind against tide – the mooring lines tend to get caught around the struts supporting the bow platform. We will investigate upgrading the gypsy on the windlass to have an additional slot for mooring lines.. Frankie and Louis heading off for guitar lesson and open day at St Laurence. Forecast for rest of week is good so the ambitious plan is Alderney – the moderate plan is Fowey.
