Hello - its Friday!
We have been at sea for nearly 2 weeks.
The rolling motion of the boat as we swerve down the waves is quite something. The noises of things banging about are incredible! Sleep is at a premium, the noises and the rolling don't allow your body to rest properly. I am certainly looking forward to a proper sleep.
We are about 860 nautical miles from St Lucia. The weather is looking less certain from Sunday onwards as an area of low pressure around the windward islands is expected to develop.
Our supplies have held out quite well. The bananas did all go ripe together, but mashed banana with honey is never a problem!
Oranges, apples and a few tomatoes are OK.
The pressure cooker was a great buy. Stews things nicely - otherwise it would take about 3 hours to get the same result. I wonder why they fell out of favour, its certainly a lower energy way to cook.
Anyway, there is still a lot of sea, wind, waves and sky. A few sea birds, lots of flying fish. We haven't seen any other boats for a few days now. Maybe we are going the wrong way!
Can't wait to see Frankie, Louis & George in a few weeks time.

All our best to everyone.
