Franks and the boys landed safely and all OK back home. A shipping case of spare parts has arrived from X-Yachts for Steen to start on next week. Ian Tom and Jon will join us next weekend and we will get ready for the trip to Lanzarote. Its around 650nm from Lisbon, looks like the weather gods on the long term forecast have assumed we liked getting rained on across Biscay.... There's plenty of time for them to change their minds and they need to!
Dom (and Morgie & Dee) - thanks for the house watching - Frankie said the only problem was too many weeds in the drive... Get ur acts together for the Carribean!
I have a new laptop to join the toughbook stable - the CF-C1 - quite nice as it is a tablet too. I am hoping a local PC guy will get the old CF28 up and running - its amazing what you manage to save to the desktop without knowing.
Carlos from Raymarine came out today and immediately diagnosed a faulty SmartPilot as the cause of our problems, he can fit tomorrow if the Volvo man is done in time - yes! You heard it - the VOLVO part has caught up with me - only 6 weeks later.
Enough - I need to adjust the parasol.
