We had a pleasant sail / motorsail down the rest of the incredible "silver coast" today to Figueira da Foz. 2 large mackerel caught which will do nicely for breakfast along with a decent loaf of bread! I am very proud of today's effort - I hope it tastes as good as it looks and smells.
We had a walk around town and a nice meal out tonight - it's a large town with most of the normal attractions. Tomorrow we will explore more - we have shopping to do too...
On the weather front, it's been warm but a tad cloudy today.
On the wine front, Vinho Verde gets my thumbs up. Also Altajio Tinto, yesterday we had a bottle from a small stall in Aviero that cost €2.50 - it was one of the best red wines I have ever tasted! What a remarkable country. I had no idea that Portugal would be so interesting.
Time keeps marching on and it feels like we have only scratched the surface - we will definitely be back to explore the Minho area more.
