We enjoyed a short but fast and breezy sail across from Bequia to Mustique yesterday afternoon. We are now at anchor in the rather lovely Britannia Bay on Mustique with several rather lovely Superyachts and a few normal yachts like us! We managed a quick run ashore to the world famous Basils Bar last night, tiredness kicked in well before the start of the Wednesday night "Jump Up" so we enjoyed some live music from the comfort of our beds. I have some fiddling around to do on the anchor today as I want to add my 100 metres of spare rope to it so we can anchor in greater depths when needed. We shall probably stay here for a few days - hire bikes to tour the island and check out some new snorkelling spots.

Louis has made great progress with his ear and should be fine to go in the water tomorrow.

The weather is perfect, the nights have cooled off slightly so that a thin sheet is only needed for a couple of hours in the early morning. Day times are hot but a breeze normally takes the edge off just nicely.

Mustique is a completely exclusive island - the Mustique Company runs nearly everything, we shall give our full opinion having done our cycle tour, however, first impressions are that there are NO security issues. We have to decide whether to stay here for New Year and mix with the "world elite" at Basils or mix it up on Bequia. Wind and swell may take their part in the decision!

We stocked up with enough food yesterday to last us 2 weeks, so... we are ready for a long stay around Tobago Cays when we next get itchy feet.
