It’s now 6.00am local time and at last land is in sight – the two “pitons”
of St Lucia are looming in to view, just an incredible view. The VHF is
constantly crackling into life as other boats report their positions 5
miles from the finish. We will have to do the same in about an hour's
time. Then it really will be only a few miles to. Great news too is
that it means we will arrive after first light.
