We left. Carriacou having had our newest crew member fitted - Wizzz, the Silent wind generator and immediately headed off to St Lucia. It should have been 101 nm but 2days later and some 175 nm we eventually sailed into Rodney bay, St Lucia. Upwind sailing is like langlaufing - a lot of effort, you do not go very fast and it takes ages to get there! And by the way it has rained since we got here, plus rain and lightening storms enroute....this sailing lark is not a doddle!!
