17th December and we are now on a buoy in Blue Lagoon, St Vincent after a lovely sail (no rain despite the rather threatening skies) with all the sails although both the main and yankee were reefed to cross the Bequia Channel between Bequia and St Vincent. We made really good time averaging 5 knots – could have been faster if Claire had been a little more ‘pro-active’ during her time ‘on watch’!!  James took over and we immediately went 1.5 knots faster after only a small tweak of ‘Humphrey’!!  You can’t beat experience.
