We had a beautiful sail out to these islands yesterday even though the wind was on the nose!   The waters in between the Inner and Outer reef were sparkling with virtually no waves.  We saw a manatee and ray as we left our anchorage at Mapps Cay and once outside Goff’s Cay we had fantastic coloured water – so many different shades of blue and green.   Even our little camera managed to catch some of the differences.    We are now anchored in turtle grass off Coco Tree Cay and about to go exploring the reef nearby where our guide book tells us there is excellent snorkelling.   Hope so, as there’s not much else here ... no yachts, no people and what looks like a deserted resort 2 miles away at Cay Bokle!
