We have escaped the oil and diesel of Chaguaramas harbour and are now anchored in the little bay of Gaspar Grande watching vultures, kisskadees, warblers, banaquits and many other, as yet, unidentified birds fly around us. At night we have fruit bats swooping across the top of the water catching gnats (the more the merrier we say!). Just wonderful. Great place to wait as Kay sorts out our new Bimini with rain and shade protection.
