SANTO
 The entrance to the
huge Millenium Cave in Santo.
 After walking, wading
and clambering through the cave we swam down the river, through a deep gorge, to
get back to the village.
MAEWO
 In the village of
Narovorovo we were shown the traditional way to prepare kava using a coral
stone.
 Tom gets his first
lesson and mainly grinds his hand instead of the kava.
 The walk across Maewo to
see the 'bigfella ocean' on the east coast took us over a couple of steep hills
and through thick jungle.
 We joined a family
fishing party and picnic when we reached the other side.
 The beautiful waterfall
and swimming pool at Asinvari.
 Having a shower - such a
luxury!
