Been motoring since 200 hrs last night when the
wind died which is a bit of a pain since without the electric autopilot we have
to hand steer when there is not enough wind. The engine noise also makes it very
difficult to sleep so all are a bit tired today. Nice sunshine though...Other
boats are still sitting in rain and high winds.
Having to use the diesel now means that we will
have to be closer to the Azores before we can motor last bit regardless of the
weather which is a shame. Knowing that once close we can make a run for the end
is quite a morale booster and vice versa.
