We have all been to busy to add anything over the last few days and I can see that the satphone is not updating the position (not that we've moved just that it has not reconfirmed where we are) so hopefully that can get sorted before we go. It's a week since I left Singapore but realy does not feel like it!

Lynn left on Monday afternoon which must have been hard after doing so much to help get us this far and then Richard arrived in the evening. We are now settling in together and reorganising spaces for stores etc to give us a little (very lttle) personal space. I share my cabin with tool boxes and bits, Richard with the dinghy, very big bolt cutters and angle grinder and Ian will move out of the forward cabin and into the saloon on Saturday to make room for the fresh fruit and veg.

Pretty much everything that needs to be done has now been, meat and veg ordered for delivery Friday and the boat is in good shape. We decided last night that we were ready to go and the last few days are going to drag a bit. This afternoon I went out on one of the other boats that has also just bought a Parasailor (spinaker like sail with a slot and wing to spread it and hold it up) to see how it was hoisted and sailed which was usefull so that at least I have seen it once before it has to be done for real. (Ian and Richard had ours up once for a few hours on the way here).

The weather has been nice and sunny with a good breeze and as we get closer to Sunday we'll start to pay more attention to what is going on outside the marina in the real world. Had a team talk today and decided when we were to have showers (every 3 days to start with) and what fresh water would be used for (one personal washing bowl a day and cooking), the watch system (2 on 4 off between 6pm and 8am) and general use of safety lines and numbers on deck for different operations etc. Richard is in charge of launching the life raft, I am to take the grab bag and Ian to shout mayday down the radio in the event of an evacuation - Ian will have to be quick or he'll get left behind!

Richard is taking the opportunity to try and sell a few more boatiefryingpans (squrae ones which make better use of the spac on the cooker), none sold yet !
